Key Responsibilities:
  1. Devising a successful strategy for winning a bid, which includes pinpointing the unique selling points (key differentiators) and understanding the clients' specific requirements.
  2. Researching and writing proposals.
  3. Researching current and future market trends.
  4. Responding to clients' and other stakeholders' queries before, during and after the bid has been submitted.
  5. Contribute to the formulation of the bidding strategy, taking into consideration clients trends, ToRs requirements, competitor's approach, and team's configuration and capacity.
  6. Excellent written communication skills.
  7. Responding to the queries on proposals and raising concerns from assessing ToRs.
  8. An interest in the Localisation industry sector, coupled with a willingness to remain up to date with industry trends, regulations and legislations.
  9. Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process.
  10. Contributing to the written proposal – both in terms of content and presentation (such as preparation of a management summary).
  11. Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues.
Candidate Profile:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or related field.
  2. One plus years of experience as a bid specialist.
  3. Solid quantitative and analytical skills and problem-solving expertise.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail is required.
  5. Demonstrated expertise in Excel and proficiency in other Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word).
  6. Strong Research skills in sourcing RFPs.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.
  9. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  10. Excellent writing skills to be able to construct high quality, complex narratives and convey complex ideas simply and clearly.
  11. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  12. Ability to think and work pro-actively and creatively under pressure.
