We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Engineer to spearhead our commercial solar sales efforts in the southern territory of Pakistan. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the solar industry, proven B2B sales expertise, and the ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships to drive business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored sales strategies specific to the market.
- Identify untapped segments and build go-to-market approaches to drive lead generation and conversion.
- Analyze market dynamics and continuously refine strategies to stay ahead of competitors.
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with industrial, commercial, and corporate clients.
- Conduct client visits and site assessments to understand customer energy needs and recommend tailored solar solutions.
- Build long-term client relationships that result in repeat business and referrals.
- Create and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations to decision-makers.
- Lead negotiations to close high-value contracts with clients, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
- Coordinate with legal and finance departments to ensure smooth contract execution.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and project execution teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to deployment.
- Liaise with supply chain and procurement to ensure product availability and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and maintain an updated sales pipeline in the CRM system.
- Prepare detailed weekly/monthly reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
- Monitor regional market trends, pricing strategies, and policy developments affecting the solar industry.
- Recruit, train, and supervise regional business development executives (if applicable).
- Develop and manage a network of channel partners, agents, and resellers to expand regional reach.
- Conduct sales training sessions and workshops for internal staff and external partners.
- Ensure exceptional post-sale support and coordination with after-sales teams.
- Resolve client queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Champion a customer-first approach and promote brand loyalty.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in engineering, Business, Sales & Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- At least 03 years of B2B sales experience in the solar or renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large client portfolios.
- Strong network within the South Region's industrial and commercial sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and presentation software.
- Ability to travel extensively within the region.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
