About the Role
We're seeking a proactive and experienced Freelance Business Development Executive with a strong B2B background to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth across sectors such as healthcare, advertising, marketing, technology, and more. You'll leverage your skills in lead generation, market analysis, and client management to expand Diakob's footprint in the UK market.
Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification
- Conduct market research to identify trends, potential clients, and growth areas.
- Analyze sector-specific challenges to inform tailored strategies for outreach.
Business Development
- Design and implement business development plans aligned with sales targets.
- Prospect via cold calls, networking, and digital channels to build a healthy pipeline.
- Pitch Diakob's expert network and research solutions to decision-makers.
Client Relationship Management
- Foster strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Act as the primary liaison, providing timely communication and support.
Proposal Development & Closing
- Coordinate with service teams to construct customized proposals.
- Present, negotiate, and close deals effectively.
Market Positioning & Branding
- Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns and messaging.
- Represent Diakob at relevant industry events and forums to enhance brand positioning.
- Monitor competitive and market dynamics to refine tactical approaches.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist management with ad-hoc initiatives to drive business growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of B2B business development experience, ideally within Market Research, healthcare, tech, or marketing industries.
- Proven success in generating leads, negotiating with stakeholders, and closing deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working in a remote, freelance capacity.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and market orientation.
Compensation
- Freelance, commission-based structure, with opportunities for performance-based retainers or bonuses.
