Job Description
As an Entry-Level Sales Development Representative at AST, you will play an important role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. You will engage potential customers, understand their needs, and guide them through our solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to jump-start a career in sales—especially if you've had any exposure to phone-based customer service or upselling in the past.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct introductory calls with inbound leads from our CRM, focusing on understanding client needs and building rapport.
- Learn to identify which potential customers are a good fit for our software development and digital solutions.
- Present our offerings in a clear, friendly, and professional manner, explaining how AST's solutions can meet business objectives.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and share insights from your conversations.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in our CRM for follow-up, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop ongoing rapport with potential clients, ensuring they feel supported and valued throughout the sales process.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional services that could benefit our clients' needs.
- Leverage mentorship and training opportunities to improve your sales skills and gain deeper knowledge of software and tech solutions.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate (or equivalent experience) in any field—business, marketing, communications, or IT background is a plus.
- Comfortable speaking with clients via phone or video calls; able to handle objections with confidence and empathy.
- Any exposure to call center, telemarketing, or upselling environments is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and learn from experienced sales professionals.
- An interest in learning about software solutions and staying up to date on industry trends.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is helpful but not required; training will be provided.
