We are seeking a strong communications executive to manage the Communications function at Tetra Pak in the Great Middle East (GME) region. The Communications Director is a trusted business partner responsible for delivering strategic internal and external communications to support the markets in the region, including Arabia, Pakistan, and Central Eurasia. The role involves enhancing Tetra Pak's reputation with key stakeholders, working with a small team and external agencies, and serving as a company spokesperson. The Communications Director GME will report to the Vice President of Market Communications and travel 25-30% of the time.

What You Will Do
  1. Oversee communications activities in internal communications, reputation management, public relations, and marketing communications.
  2. Lead annual planning, coordinating input from business strategy, marketing, sustainability, and corporate affairs to develop an integrated communications plan aligned with global strategy.
  3. Implement the communications plan, ensuring quality and outcome-based KPIs.
  4. Protect and strengthen the company's reputation through proactive public relations and crisis management.
  5. Provide timely communications counsel to Managing Directors and leadership teams.
  6. Contribute actively to the global communications leadership team.
  7. Lead the market communication function with a focus on productivity, dynamism, and excellence, ensuring efficient operations.
  8. Manage resources, including people, agencies, budgets, and tools, ensuring team capability and engagement.
What You Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication or related field; MBA preferred; 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent business acumen and strategic skills.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and coaching leaders.
  • Comfortable with change and driving transformation.
  • Results-oriented, self-driven, organized, and flexible.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills in English and local languages.
  • Proficiency in digital tools, including AI, Power BI, and marketing automation.
