Assistant Manager - IND

Job Location: Islamabad

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Role Statement

Responsible for planning and organizing inspection-related activities, assisting the commercial team in preparing quotations, monitoring market trends, and handling customer complaints.

This position operates in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

Accountabilities
  • Review and approve technical and commercial proposals.
  • Plan and organize inspections.
  • Coordinate with clients and inspectors for inspections.
  • Maintain records of completed jobs and contractor verifications, and verify invoices.
  • Review inspection reports.
  • Attend management meetings.
  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
KPIs (to be amended if necessary)
  • Perform and deliver as per commitments and client expectations.
  • Error-free data collection and reporting.
  • Customer satisfaction feedback.
  • Maintain unbiased decisions.
  • No breach of BV QHSSE Policies.
Technical Competencies

The following competencies are required:

  • An engineering degree and/or management-related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Excellent technical, organizational, and time management skills.
Skills
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Reporting skills.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with industry inspection codes, standards, and practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage work under pressure with tight schedules and willingness to work in teams.
