Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Compliance Officer to lead and oversee our organization's security compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of regulatory standards, information security frameworks, and risk management practices. This role is critical in ensuring that our organization meets all internal and external compliance obligations while maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain information security compliance programs aligned with regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
  • Monitor and assess organizational compliance with security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Lead internal and external audits; coordinate with auditors, regulators, and certification bodies.
  • Identify risks and provide recommendations for improving security posture and compliance.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and security gap analyses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Legal, HR, and Operations, to enforce compliance initiatives.
  • Manage incident response and reporting protocols related to compliance breaches.
  • Provide training and awareness programs related to information security compliance.
  • Stay updated with new and evolving regulations and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in information security, compliance, or audit roles.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, COBIT).
  • Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27005, ISO 27701, ISO 20000, ISO 22301, and SOC2 standards
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead audits and compliance projects independently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing enterprise-level GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) platforms.
  • Background in cloud security compliance (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
