About the Role:

Job Title: IT Officer (Networking & Systems Management)

Job Type: Full Time (on-site)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled IT Officer to manage our organization's network infrastructure, centralized device management, and IT procurement activities. This role is ideal for a technically proficient and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in Windows Server environments, network systems, and enterprise device management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

oManage and maintain LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.

oMonitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and security.

oImplement network policies and procedures to maintain operational effectiveness.

oDeploy and manage updates using WSUS (Windows Server Update Services).

oUse SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for centralized software distribution, patch management, and compliance enforcement.

oConfigure and manage Intune for mobile device management and cloud- based endpoint administration.

oAutomate the setup and configuration of laptops and desktops within the organization.

oInstall, configure, and maintain Windows servers and services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.

oPerform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.

oMonitor server health, logs, and capacity planning.

oAssess hardware and software needs for departments.

oEvaluate vendor proposals and assist in purchasing IT equipment like servers, switches, laptops, firewalls, and accessories.

oMaintain inventory and ensure timely installation and support of procured devices.

oMaintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, network diagrams, and procedures.

oGenerate reports on system performance, software compliance, and procurement status

Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·3–4 years of experience in IT administration or network/system management.

·Strong understanding of Windows Server OS and enterprise device management tools (WSUS, SCCM, Intune).

·Experience in configuring and managing network devices (Cisco, HP, etc.).

·Familiarity with IT procurement processes and vendor management.

·Certifications like CCNA, MCSA/MCSE, or Microsoft Endpoint Manager certifications are a plus.

·Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different departments.

·Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining secure and efficient IT systems.

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.

·Ability to stay updated with emerging technologies and banking trends.
