Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead (.Net C#)
Alpha Squared, Pakistan

Alpha Squared, a Canada and China based company, is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Dot Net Developer) in its Lahore Office on a full-time basis.

We are a small but highly professional outfit working with major clients in the Asian region on a variety of different platforms and solutions.

The successful candidate will be leading our .Net team and working on cutting-edge asset tracking & management solutions using RFID technology, Windows and web services, and ASP.NET MVC.

Required Technologies:

  • .Net Framework 3.5, 4
  • ASP.NET MVC
  • Windows Services
  • Web Services
  • Functional knowledge of XAML / WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)
  • Knowledge of DBMS (MySQL and SQL Server)
  • Knowledge of Entity Framework
  • Knowledge of web frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, etc.)
  • Optional knowledge of Windows Phone 7, 7.5 or 8 app development.
Job Specification

Must have at least 4 years of proven professional industry experience.
Experience leading teams and taking projects to completion.
Excellent leadership skills.
Excellent written and verbal English.
Ability to clearly communicate both within the team and with the client.
A willing team player with good interpersonal skills and a can-do work attitude.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently.
The candidate should hold a BCS or equivalent.
Experience in developing enterprise-level systems that utilize a tiered and component approach. Experience of implementing web services or service-oriented architecture is a strong plus.

Compensation
This is a team lead position and as such the right candidate will be provided ample compensation. Salary is dependent on skill and ability of the candidate.
