Role Overview

We're looking for a Junior Full Stack Engineer with hands-on experience in modern JavaScript frameworks to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career (6 months to 1 year of experience) who wants to learn fast, build meaningful products, and contribute to both frontend and backend systems.

You will work primarily with React.js, Node.js, and Next.js along with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL. Familiarity with Cursor AI and pair programming workflows is a big plus.

This is a hybrid role, based in Islamabad with a preference for candidates residing near G-11 Markaz.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable frontend and backend features using React, Node.js, and Next.js.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across both client-side and server-side stacks.
  • Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL for data modeling and queries.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming (especially using Cursor AI), and agile development cycles.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to ship features on time.
  • Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and continuously optimize performance.

Requirements
  • 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer.
  • Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, and Next.js frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
  • Comfortable working with Git, APIs, and modern dev workflows.
  • Exposure to or interest in using Cursor AI for collaborative coding.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-growing product team.
  • Lives near G-11 Markaz, Islamabad (preferred for in-office collaboration).
  • Familiarity with deployment pipelines and basic DevOps tasks is a plus.
