Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team in the e-commerce industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing email marketing campaigns that engage our audience, promote our brand, and drive conversions. This role requires strong content and analytical skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of email marketing best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and execute effective email marketing campaigns in coordination with the marketing and content teams

Develop and manage email marketing calendars, ensuring timely deployment of newsletters, product announcements, and promotional campaigns

Segment email lists and create targeted campaigns based on customer behavior and demographics

Analyze campaign performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions, etc.) and suggest improvements

Ensure all email content aligns with brand guidelines, voice, and tone

Collaborate with design and content teams to create engaging email templates and visual assets

Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, layouts, and send times to optimize campaign performance

Maintain and grow email subscriber lists while ensuring compliance with data protection and anti-spam regulations

Report on campaign performance to key stakeholders and recommend data-driven strategies for improvement

Coordinate with the Business Development (BD) department and other internal teams to align messaging and promotional strategies

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Email Marketing Specialist or in a similar digital marketing role, preferably in the e-commerce industry

Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, KPIs, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM)

Excellent written communication and content creation skills

Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, Sendinblue)

Proficiency in analyzing data and drawing actionable insights

Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously

Familiarity with design principles and working with creative teams

Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM tools is a plus

Preferred Tools & Platforms:

Email Marketing Platforms: Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, Sendinblue

Design Tools (basic familiarity is a plus): Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva

Project Management: Asana, Trello, Monday.com

E-commerce Platforms: Shopify, WooCommerce
