About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Executive to lead our client acquisition efforts. This is a hands-on individual contributor role initially. You will be directly responsible for outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, client engagement, proposal management, and deal closure. Team expansion responsibilities may be considered based on business growth and performance.
You must understand how startups and growing companies operate and think strategically to drive revenue and build strong client relationships.
- Drive full sales lifecycle: inbound qualification, outbound prospecting, nurturing, proposal writing, and closing deals.
- Actively identify and target B2B clients in the USA, Europe, UAE, and Australia.
- Customize outreach strategies based on client buying intent signals.
- Engage prospects through LinkedIn, Email, Upwork (if needed), and other digital channels.
- Craft winning proposals aligned with client needs, including RFP responses and basic contract negotiation support.
- Manage CRM pipelines accurately: leads, stages, follow-ups, and notes.
- Set up and optimize sales workflows using modern sales automation tools (e.g., Hubspot, Apollo.io, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Enrich, validate, and maintain clean lead databases using tools like Hunter, Clay, Icypeas, and FullEnrich.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to refine targeting and positioning.
- Provide monthly sales reports, lead generation metrics, and revenue forecasts.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to deliver customized client solutions.
- Regularly analyze client feedback, adapt strategies, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- 3-6+ years of experience in B2B business development/sales for IT/software development services.
- Proven track record of closing deals for startups or growing technology companies.
- Strong understanding of inbound and outbound sales pipelines.
- Deep knowledge of SaaS, Custom Software, Mobile, and Web App services.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Expertise with CRM platforms (Hubspot, Zoho, Pipedrive, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with modern sales automation tools (Apollo.io, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hubspot Sequences).
- Experience with B2B lead sourcing (Clay, Lusha, Apify, PandaMatch, PhantomBuster).
- Knowledge of data validation and enrichment (Hunter, Icypeas, FullEnrich, LeadMagic).
- Strong LinkedIn prospecting and outbound engagement abilities.
- Skilled in writing RFP responses, tailored proposals, and client communications.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, ownership-driven, and highly motivated.
- Familiarity with SaaS, AI, Cloud, and Digital Transformation services.
- Experience with Upwork bidding is a plus.
- Prior experience working with remote, globally distributed teams.
- Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
- High resilience to client rejections and ability to refine approaches dynamically.
- Advanced knowledge of sales tech stacks and automation systems.
- Attractive commission structure linked to deal closures and revenue generated.
- Rapid growth opportunities into senior sales leadership roles.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are not looking for a typical "lead generator." We are hiring a proactive revenue generator and strategic closer who understands inbound and outbound sales, startup growth challenges, client psychology, technical solution selling, and intent-driven selling. Knowledge of modern sales technology, lead sourcing, data enrichment, market research, reporting, and pipeline automation is highly valued.
