About the job: Customer Service & Logistics Officer - LHR

Job Description:
  1. Evaluates routing, load management, and ensures tracking of delivery vehicles.
  2. Collaborates with 3PL service providers for effective daily operations and conducts periodic meetings to resolve operational issues.
  3. Monitors the overall inventory control system and schedules daily & weekly inventory checks as per SOPs.
  4. Ensures timely closure on all in-transit damages, shortages, and open orders to prevent inventory discrepancies.
  5. Seeks guidance from the logistics manager and supply planning manager regarding inventory-related in-transit issues for appropriate action.
  6. Keeps track of warehouse status, capacity outlooks, defines requirements, and coordinates with 3PL service providers for continuous improvement to prevent capacity bottlenecks.
  7. Deploys all service providers and logistic contracts monthly, evaluating their performance to ensure they meet company standards.
  8. Initiates cost-saving measures by critically and continuously evaluating ongoing operations to maximize cost efficiencies.

Education & Experience:
  • Preferably a graduate from a reputable university.
