Business Development Executive (Software Services)

About the Role:

We're looking for a results-driven Business Developer with a proven track record of landing clients, particularly in the software development industry. The ideal candidate will be skilled in client outreach via LinkedIn and experienced in using freelance platforms like Upwork and Fiverr to identify and engage with potential leads. You'll play a key role in expanding our client base through strategic outreach and tailored proposals.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct targeted outreach to potential clients on LinkedIn using both Premium and Sales Navigator accounts.
  • Engage with leads as both as an individual and on behalf of the company.
  • Actively bid on relevant projects on platforms like Upwork and manage the initial conversations with clients.
  • Write tailored, concise, and compelling proposals to attract client attention and drive interest.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, especially during night shifts.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in business development, particularly within the software development or IT services space.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong experience in developing and executing outreach strategies in competitive markets.
  • Solid expertise in LinkedIn prospecting and Upwork bidding.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to confidently interact with clients during early engagement phases.
  • Comfortable working full-time on-site during the night shift (EDT time zone).
