Responsibilities
  1. Produce daily as well as next day requirements of the cycle menu.
  2. Receive ingredients and other supplies from food store as required for daily operations through the routine procedure.
  3. Prepare sugar paste or icing, cream mixtures, fondants or meringue required in decorating or in the formation of special molds used in the cakes and pastries.
  4. Bake quality cakes with various designs, appropriate paste and capable to write on cakes when required or as specified.
  5. Produce delicious bakery products by ensuring quality and hygiene of all bakery items.
  6. Maintain related documentation and stock rotation of the items stored in fridges/freezer as assigned by supervisor.
  7. Responsible for the safety and hygienic condition of the bakery products and immediately report damages/wastes and theft to supervisor.
  8. Ensure work stations and baking equipment are clean as per the "clean as you go" principle by cleaning cooking equipment, utensils, fridges/walk-in fridges and bakery areas.
  9. Coordinate the routine cleaning of the areas and equipment with supervisor.
  10. Work involves shift duties as assigned.
Requirements
  1. Preferably Matriculate with Bakery certificate course from a recognized Institution.
  2. Non-Matriculate with training in Baking from a recognized Institution.
  3. Matric: 4-5 years of related work experience OR Non-Matric: 5-6 years of related work experience.
  4. Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards.
  5. Able to read & write in Urdu and English.
  6. Able to operate Bakery & Kitchen equipment.
  7. Knowledge of standard recipes and ability to follow written guidelines.
  8. Respectful attitude towards supervisor and colleagues.
  9. Ability to work in a team.
  10. Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, and quality standards.
  11. As per department policy, the use of cell phone, jewelry, rings, earrings, watches, and chain necklaces during working hours is restricted.
