As a Trainee Design & Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical information and guidance in the design, improvement, and proposal of systems. You may collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives, meeting client requirements, industry standards, and company objectives. Your main focus will be on developing innovative design solutions, preparing technical proposals, and contributing to the growth of the company. You will ensure timely and accurate submission of techno-commercial proposals for assigned projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring and training new hires and interns.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing technical and commercial pre-sales support to achieve strategic targets.
  2. Collaborating with international teams to develop customer-centric solutions.
  3. Supporting the sales team and developing integrated systems and tools.
  4. Reviewing RFQs to ensure technical and commercial compliance.
  5. Proposing turnkey solutions in electrical and process automation.
  6. Ensuring compliance with business policies and legal standards.
  7. Managing international bids and proposals, minimizing risks.
  8. Strategizing during pre-sales to mitigate risks and ensure smooth project execution.
  9. Working with OEMs to track Capex programs and meet user specifications.
  10. Leading the development of Capex/Sales plans for automation solutions.
  11. Training team members on solutions and market innovations.
  12. Analyzing key accounts and developing strategies to increase market share.
  13. Diagnosing customer problems and delivering seamless solutions.
  14. Understanding contractual terms and negotiating with customers.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Experience with control systems, DCS, and SCADA.
  • Proficient in English, with good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling is preferred.
  • Good understanding of oil and gas industry standards and P&ID.
