Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead and grow our commercial and industrial client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the solar, energy, or related sectors, with a strong focus on strategic business growth, client relationship management, and high-impact proposal development.
This is a critical role for the company's expansion, offering the opportunity to work closely with leadership and shape market strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and target high-potential clients in the industrial and commercial sectors using platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and market intelligence tools.
- Drive outreach campaigns via email, cold calls, and in-person meetings with decision-makers.
- Research and analyze client needs, business models, and energy requirements to tailor solutions accordingly.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
2- Sales Strategy & Proposal Management
- Develop and deliver customized proposals and presentations addressing client-specific energy challenges.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles: from first contact to negotiation and contract closure.
- Collaborate with the engineering and technical teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of proposed solutions.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.
3- Client Relationship & Account Management
- Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure client satisfaction, manage expectations, and facilitate timely resolution of issues.
- Promote repeat business and referrals through excellent client servicing.
- Stay current with trends, regulations, and competitors in the Pakistani solar energy market.
- Provide strategic insights and feedback to refine sales strategies and product offerings.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasted growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or industrial solutions.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, cold outreach, and high-value contract negotiation.
- Strong understanding of the solar market, project financing, and energy management solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional business email and proposal writing.
- Ability to engage C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in English; Urdu proficiency is an asset.
