Following established policies, procedures, and study protocols, provides assistance on clinical research studies, including recruiting, evaluating, and consenting participants for studies; collecting and organizing data; scheduling study visits; performing study procedures; maintaining and updating data generated by the study. Essential Functions:

  1. Recruits patients for research activities, conducts phone interviews.
  2. Verifies the accuracy of study forms and updates them per protocol.
  3. Prepares data for analysis and data entry.
  4. Documents participants visits and procedures.
  5. Assists with regulatory binders and QA/QC procedures.
  6. Assists with interviewing study subjects.
  7. Assists with study reports and submissions.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in science, neuroscience, psychology, or related field required.
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No

Experience: Some relevant research project work 0-1 year preferred.

  • Careful attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Working knowledge of clinical research protocols.
  • Ability to demonstrate respect and professionalism for subjects' rights and individual needs.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
