Role Overview:

As a Proposal Development Coordinator, you will support the preparation of competitive proposals for global development tenders, focusing on strategic components such as team composition, organizational experience, and aligning expert profiles to ensure the proposal meets the client's specific requirements. In this role, you will identify and directly collaborate with leading international experts from around the world. In addition, you will enhance the appeal of our proposal submissions by conducting in-depth background research, designing engaging visuals and infographics, and contributing to strategic communication materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Working under the guidance of a Proposal Developer and the Quality Assurance Lead, the incumbent will:

1. Talent Sourcing and Coordination:

• Identify and secure top-tier consultants to join Cynosure's bids for international assignments;
• Tailor consultant CVs and develop expert profiles to align them with client requirements; and
• Maintain and update the company's internal consultant database.

2. Proposal Development Research

• Support proposal development by conducting research on cutting-edge development sector projects;
• Assist in developing key strategic proposal components, including organizational experience, project management, and team structure; and
• Ensure all proposals meet formatting, content, and submission requirements as outlined by the client.

3. Graphic Design and Communication:

• Design infographics, charts, and other visuals using graphic design tools (such as Canva or Adobe Illustrator) to enhance proposal presentations; and
• Develop marketing and strategic communication materials such as brochures, concept notes, and promotional content for proposal development.

Key Requirements:

• A Master's degree in Social Sciences, Business, International Relations, Development Studies, or a related field; degrees from internationally recognized institutions are highly preferred;
• At least 1-2 years of experience, ideally in proposal development in an international development consultancy or NGO environment;
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) are required;
• Keen interest and ability in the ethical use of AI-based tools for research (for example ChatGPT)
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines;
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify key compliance requirements in tender documents.
• A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team;
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities; and
• Access to reliable commute to the office.
