Job Description

The Technical Sales Manager is an integrated role that combines the technical expertise of a Sales Solution Manager (SSM) with the customer relationship management and sales skills of an Account Manager (AM). This role is responsible for driving sales of optimal solutions to customers (direct and indirect via partners) by providing technical expertise, developing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and creating and winning opportunities.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  1. Drive sales growth by developing and executing targeted sales strategies for assigned accounts and partners.
  2. Engage with customers to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives, fostering strong relationships.
  3. Manage the sales pipeline by creating, maintaining, and forecasting sales opportunities and pricing files.
  4. Lead opportunity development by coordinating with internal teams and collaborating with Vertical Practice Experts for solution architectures.
  5. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, leveraging market knowledge and customer insights.
  6. Provide technical sales support and expertise, navigating complex customer requirements and contractual negotiations.
  7. Support and guide partner engagement initiatives, identifying potential partners and collaborating with Partner Managers.
  8. Participate actively in the bid development process, leading teams for comprehensive offer solutions and compliance documentation.

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

  1. Extensive knowledge of the enterprise and partner business in the Middle East region.
  2. At least 10 years of experience in a consultative, solution-oriented sales or business development role.
  3. Strong background in technology pre-sales and sales roles within a vendor environment.
  4. Familiarity with private networks and their applications across various industries.
  5. Ability to establish and close relationships at a C-level across assigned customers and partners.

It would be nice if you also had:

  1. Experience with opportunity and offer strategy development.
  2. Proven ability to create and manage active account plans for assigned customers/territories.
  3. Expertise in solution architecture during early phases of opportunity development.
