Our client, a nonprofit working to improve global health through affordable products, social marketing, and stronger health systems, is hiring a Training Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of training programs focused on family planning services specifically DMPA-SC SI.
- Oversee a small team, including two trainers and one training coordinator, ensuring high-quality training delivery aligned with national guidelines and organizational goals.
- Lead in strengthening service delivery in DMPA-SC SI through capacity-building initiatives, monitoring performance, and enhancing training effectiveness.
- Develop and implement the annual training plan and strategy for DISC 2.0 training on DMPA-SC SI.
- Design, revise, and adapt training materials and curricula in line with national standards and global best practices.
- Collaborate with technical experts in global DISC team and local experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Set performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and support professional development for team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the training unit.
- Oversee the scheduling, logistics, and delivery of training sessions across project districts.
- Ensure all trainings are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and client-centered.
- Monitor training quality and provide coaching and support to trainers as needed.
- Work with the M&E team to track training outputs, outcomes, and participant feedback.
- Analyze training data to identify areas for improvement and report findings to management and donors.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual training reports as required.
- Liaise with partners, Ministry of Health (MoH), and other key stakeholders to coordinate training efforts.
- Represent the organization at relevant technical working groups and capacity-building forums, when required.
Requirements
- Masters degree in public health, Nursing, Education, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in training and capacity-building, with at least 2 years in family planning or reproductive health.
- Proven experience managing a small team.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and participatory training methods.
- Familiarity with national family planning policies, guidelines, and service delivery models.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and training management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
- Basic data analysis skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Availability to frequently travel across Sindh.
