The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team in Lahore. This is a pivotal role focused on driving new business for our specialized China-Pakistan air and land transportation services, covering both import and export shipments. If you have a passion for sales, a deep understanding of freight, and a desire to contribute to a nationally significant project, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients for China-Pakistan (import & export) air and land freight services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present compelling freight quotes, proposals, and service agreements.
- Negotiate rates and service terms with clients, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with our Operations, Customs, and International teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and CPEC developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs for assigned routes and services.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Represent Consort Logistics Inc. professionally at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 of 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with a strong focus on international trade.
- Demonstrable understanding of China-Pakistan trade lanes, specifically both air and land (road) transport.
- Solid knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international trade documentation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship-building abilities and a customer-centric 2 approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic, multicultural team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is a significant advantage.
- Previous experience working with or selling services related to CPEC.
- Knowledge of freight management software (TMS/CRM).
- Prior experience in cross-border logistics operations.
