Achieve data excellence as a skilled database administrator.

This role requires a talented individual to improve the efficiency and availability of our databases. The ideal candidate will have strong analysis and troubleshooting skills, with experience managing enterprise-class databases an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure optimal database configuration and collaborate with the development team to optimize database use from the application perspective.
  • Perform performance tuning and optimization based on gathered statistics.
  • Set up and manage replication topologies for high availability.
  • Manage database security by granting/revoking permissions and ensuring compliance.
  • Design, implement, and test disaster recovery scenarios to minimize RTO and meet RPO goals.
  • Ensure current and reliable database backups for all production databases.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and assist with application issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems.
  • At least 1 year of experience in database administration.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and strong understanding of database clustering technologies.
  • Knowledge of data conversion technologies and proactive attitude towards project management.
  • Proven ability to optimize DBMS for functionality, reliability, supportability, scalability, normalization, and referential integrity.
