Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Modeler to create, refine and maintain conceptual and logical/Physical database models. The ideal candidate will transform data into valuable insights that inform business decisions.

  • Gather requirements from the business team and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Drive projects and provide guidance as needed.
  • Work with business and application/solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models.
  • Collaborate independently and in a team environment.
  • Extract and analyze system/business requirements and provide mapping documents for technical teams.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience using relational, dimensional, and/or analytic systems including RDBMS, NoSQL, big data, cloud platforms and ETL/data ingestion protocols.
  • Mandatory expertise in data modeling, database design, and data analysis/profiling.
  • Experience in a similar role such as data analyst/data modeler.
  • Familiarity with metadata management and tools like Erwin or ER Studio.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Hands-on SQL experience and problem-solving abilities.
