System Administrator - Bank Core Banking Platform

The system administrator will serve as the system administrator for the bank's core banking platform and its surrounding applications. The role involves administering system configurations, performing Identity and Access Management (IAM) functions, supporting testing activities, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer system configurations to ensure stable and secure systems.
  • Perform IAM functions, including user provisioning, role assignments, de-provisioning, and periodic access reviews.
  • Ensure segregation of duties by maintaining separate identities for privileged and non-privileged activities.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of administrative actions for compliance, internal audits, and forensic purposes.
  • Collaborate with TPM, PM, and cross-functional teams to support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Participate in change management processes and document system changes, access provisioning, and configurations.
  • Coordinate with application vendors for system upgrades, issue resolution, and release deployments.
  • Monitor performance and availability of systems and suggest or implement tuning/improvements.
  • Assist in defining and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to system administration and access control.
  • Support the onboarding of new systems or modules by preparing environment setups and user roles.
  • Escalate risks or abnormalities in user behavior or system anomalies to Information Security or Governance functions.
  • Serve the Tiered support hierarchy for monitoring, fixing, and reporting of incidents within the system.
  • Assist the Information Security and Technology Governance teams during audits and reviews.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery activities from a systems administration perspective.

This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise and experience in system administration. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of IAM principles and practices, as well as experience with cloud infrastructure and system configuration.
