Job Title: Product Sourcing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced product sourcing specialist to drive the success of our import strategy and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Research & Sourcing: Conduct thorough research to identify high-demand products that align with business needs and consumer trends. Establish strong supplier relationships, negotiate favorable terms for product procurement, and source reliable suppliers.
  • Market Analysis & Intelligence: Analyze customer preferences, pricing strategies, and competition to understand market dynamics. Use this information to identify pricing opportunities and create competitive pricing models for imported products.
  • Costing & Profitability Analysis: Analyze import costs, including shipping, customs duties, taxes, and other relevant fees, to ensure profitability. Provide detailed reports on cost structures, pricing strategies, and margin projections.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage potential suppliers to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and compliance with company standards.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Continuously monitor competitors' products, pricing, and market trends to stay ahead of the competition. Use competitive insights to adjust sourcing strategies and ensure our products remain competitive in the market.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in product sourcing, market research, or international trade.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Familiarity with cost modeling and pricing strategies.
