The role of a Project Coordinator involves providing support and assistance to ensure the successful implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of project work plans, ensuring timely follow-up on agreed actions and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to facilitate project planning, progress tracking, and information sharing.
  • Contribute to the preparation of periodic progress reports, briefs, meeting notes, and other documentation as required.
  • Assist in monitoring project indicators, collecting and compiling data, and supporting analysis for reporting and learning purposes.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for procurement, recruitment, and other operational processes.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems (physical and digital) and ensure all project records are updated and accessible.
  • Support donor engagement and resource mobilization activities by tracking reporting timelines and compiling inputs.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Experience in proposal writing, donor mapping, or compiling inputs for funding opportunities.
  • Familiarity with coordinating with project stakeholders, organizing meetings, or supporting community-based activities.
  • Ability to prepare communication materials, social media content, or knowledge-sharing products.
  • Familiarity with projects related to energy, environment, resilience, climate change, or gender is an asset.
  • Experience in documentation processes, maintaining knowledge repositories, or organizing reports and project files.
  • Basic understanding of working with government counterparts, development partners, or civil society organizations.
  • Ability to provide logistical and documentation support for events, briefings, or reporting needs of senior team members.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to track project activities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with online collaboration tools is desirable.
