Job Description

This role involves overseeing the import and export processes to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage all import and export processes, ensuring timely clearance and delivery of goods.
  • The successful candidate will liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory bodies to guarantee seamless logistics operations.
  • Maintaining accurate trade documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and Bills of Lading, is also a critical aspect of this role.
  • Incoterms management and logistics cost optimization will be key responsibilities for this position.
  • Overseeing HS code classification, customs duty calculations, and trade compliance audits requires strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities
  • This job entails supervising daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch.
  • Awareness of efficient space utilization, material handling, and inventory accuracy is essential for success in this role.
  • We seek an individual who can implement best practices in warehouse layout, safety, and automation.
  • Managing stock counts, audits, and discrepancy resolutions is a crucial task for this position.
  • Oversight of inbound and outbound logistics ensures on-time deliveries.
  • This role requires generating periodic reports on inventory levels, import/export activities, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration with procurement, production, and sales teams is necessary to ensure supply chain alignment.
Requirements
  • This role demands expertise in trade regulations and international laws, particularly those related to customs and trade sanctions.
  • A proactive approach to mitigating risks related to delays, non-compliance, and cost overruns is expected.
  • Maintenance of up-to-date knowledge of trade regulations and suggesting policy updates as necessary is a vital responsibility.
