Senior Structural Engineer Role Summary\

The Senior Structure Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of buildings and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include:

\
  1. \
  2. Reviewing structure design drawings and specifications during the design stage to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.\
  3. Preparing structure design details and specifications for detailed design and tender packages.\
  4. Reviewing Civil/Structure B.O.Q items.\
  5. Ensuring that all structure IFC package and site RFI replies are studied properly without conflicts and correctly implemented and shared during construction works.\
  6. Managing structure packages with Design Consultants to achieve timelines and deliverables.\
  7. Reporting highlighted structural issues during construction stage and providing proposed solutions, support, and recommendations.\
  8. Reviewing Project's Specifications and design.\
  9. Coordinating with Design Consultant to discuss and finalize technical aspects or changes in design as per actual site conditions.\
  10. Managing Structural design Coordination with technical office team to prevent conflicts.\
  11. Developing Working drawings and Construction drawings with Design Consultants.\
  12. Problem-solving for site-related issues with project team for smooth construction workflow.\
  13. Coordinating with different disciplines like MEP, Electrical department, etc.\
  14. Performing Calculation/Evaluation involved in Structural Design of different Structures.\
  15. Preparing Design Reports, Code Analysis where required.\
  16. Working on employer requirements (technical) and structural design guidelines for Design Consultants before new design works.\

Required Qualifications and Skills

\

Professionally qualified Civil Structure Engineer with solid experience in design, construction, and planning of Buildings and infrastructure works. Very good knowledge of international codes like ACI, IBC/UBC, ASCE, AISC etc. Well-versed in use of software like ETABS, SAFE, SAP, STAAD, AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, MS Office etc.

Solid experience of Site execution & Management of different projects. Strong communication and Problem-solving skills. Exposed to local as well as international projects. Registered as member of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) & knowledgeable about international standards of structure design basis & specifications.

  • Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).\
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.\
