Treasury Officer Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Officer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent financial management skills, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily cash positions, executing internal fund transfers, operating and managing bank portals, and ensuring smooth banking transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash & Liquidity Management: Ensure optimal liquidity for seamless business operations by overseeing daily cash positions.
  • Fund Transfers & Banking Operations: Execute internal fund transfers and operate/manage bank portals to ensure smooth banking transactions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly stock reports to banks, maintain investment schedules, and ensure accurate reconciliation of cash balances across multiple bank accounts.
  • Banking Relationship Management: Liaise with banks for account openings, updates, signatory changes, and management of banking facilities (including LAF, BBFS).
  • Regulatory Compliance: Manage KYC processes, verify bank markup/profit, and ensure adherence to banking regulations and internal treasury policies.
  • Forecasting & Analysis: Prepare short- and long-term cash flow forecasts, analyze variances between projected and actual cash flows, and determine borrowing needs while maintaining liability schedules.
  • Treasury Oversight: Maintain comprehensive treasury reports and dashboards for management review, support audits, and fulfill regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in treasury-related projects, process enhancements, and deliver ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP/accounting software
  • Treasury Expertise: Liquidity management, fund transfers, bank reconciliations, and investment schedules
  • Banking & Compliance Knowledge: KYC processes, regulatory requirements, and negotiating banking terms
  • Analytical Skills: Prepare cash flow forecasts, analyze variances, and recommend improvements
  • Communication & Coordination: Liaise with banks, auditors, and internal stakeholders
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in financial reporting and compliance
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to treasury and cash flow issues
