Job Description

This is an opportunity to work with individuals who require mental health and psychosocial support services. As a Mental Health Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing case management services and other relevant support to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mental health case management services to clients in community settings and primary health care centers.
  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, refer clients to appropriate services, and follow up on their progress.
  • Build relationships with clients, their families, caregivers, and support networks to provide comprehensive support.
  • Collaborate with the mental health team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Ensure timely referrals and adequate follow-up of all cases referred.
Requirements:
  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, or social work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Additional qualifications, such as a bachelor's or master's degree in social work, counseling, or other relevant fields, are desirable.
  • Typically 1-3 years of progressive experience in mental health service provision, preferably in humanitarian/low-resource settings.
  • Previous NGO experience is desired.
  • Awareness of the IASC Guidelines on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
