Senior Compensation Specialist

About the Role:
The Payroll Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the maintenance of accurate and timely payroll records. This includes ensuring that changes in payroll records are received, checked, and updated properly.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the maintenance of records on General Ledger (ERP) related to management and non-management employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing of Monthly Payroll.
2. Obtain data on salaries, allowances, and employee earnings from respective user departments and locations in a timely manner.
3. Liaise with Human Resources and other departments for clarifications and explanations relating to payroll functions.
4. Supervise activities pertaining to inter-department transfers and inter-location transfers, authorizing necessary changes in payroll records.
5. Maintain accurate ledger entries for employee loan and advances, ensuring timely reconciliations.
6. Monitor income tax deductions at source and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
7. Determine bonus entitlements and ensure compliance with SSGC rules.
8. Review Court orders and make payments accordingly based on Succession certificates.
9. Review payroll summaries and reconcile, arrange for approval, and liaise with concerned departments for payroll disbursements.
10. Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership, develop risk response strategies, monitor risks, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
11. Perform any other assigned tasks by the immediate supervisor.
