Job Title:

Mental Health Professional

The International Medical Corps seeks a skilled mental health professional to provide evidence-based psychological services for clients and their families with mental health conditions and psychosocial issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on client-centered care and tailored interventions
  • Engage in collaborative supervision and consultation with multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and implement comprehensive case management plans in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans to ensure client well-being
  • Stay updated on best practices and advances in the field through ongoing education and training
Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in psychology or a related field, and/or a valid license to practice psychology
  • Experience working in mental health settings, preferably with NGOs
  • Proficiency in at least one psychotherapy technique, such as CBT or family therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
  • Fluency in Arabic and English languages
