Job Title: Community Development Specialist

The position of Community Development Specialist is a critical role in our organization, responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals in crisis situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide counsel and support to individuals in need, connecting them with relevant resources for assistance.
  2. Identify and refer clients to suitable sources of help, ensuring their needs are met.
  3. Maintain a directory of referral partners, developing strategies to collaborate and follow up on referrals.
  4. Host quarterly meetings with partners to brief them on services and promote mutual referrals.
  5. Build relationships with institutions sharing similar objectives, facilitating collaboration and cooperation.
  6. Track and maintain records of abuse survivors for easy reference and follow-up.
  7. Evaluate programs to ensure goals are being achieved, making adjustments as needed.
  8. Monitor team performance in implementing program activities, providing guidance and support when necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Degree in Social Sciences or Law.
  2. Substantial experience working on children and women's issues.
  3. Strong leadership skills, able to motivate and guide a team.
  4. Knowledge of the development sector, staying up-to-date with new trends and best practices.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
