Business Intelligence Developer

This role requires a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to analyze business needs and design scalable solutions using data models, reporting tools, and data visualization software.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop detailed technical specifications.
  • Design and implement data models, including logical and physical schemas, to support analytical and operational reporting.
  • Develop impactful reports, dashboards, and visualizations using MicroStrategy.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
  • Maintain data dictionaries and mapping documentation.
  • Work with Data Engineers on ETL processes, performance tuning, and data governance alignment.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and report/query performance optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 05 years of experience as a BI Developer or BI Analyst.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in MicroStrategy, including schema and application object development, security role management & user access control, and distribution services.
  • Advanced SQL skills (PostgreSQL, Teradata, SQL Server, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (star/snowflake schemas, normalization, warehousing best practices).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Experience supporting Business & Technical UAT cycles – including test case creation and defect handling.
  • Solid understanding of KPIs, business drivers, and metrics, preferably within the telecom industry.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend) and integration with BI platforms.
