Responsibilities
  • Conduct and facilitate in-depth research on economic trends and policy analysis related to Pakistan and the region.
  • Publish research papers, policy briefs, and opinion pieces on various economic topics.
  • Develop periodic economic outlook reports and provide commentary on current economic issues.
  • Maintain a repository of economic indicators and databases to track macroeconomic trends, government budgets, taxation reforms, and international trade developments.
  • Represent the organization as a subject matter expert in media, seminars, conferences, and other public forums.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on emerging economic issues.
  • Collaborate with national and international institutions for joint research and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Support advocacy efforts by providing data-backed inputs for policy recommendations.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree or higher in Economics, Public Policy, International Trade, Development Studies, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • At least 5 years of experience in economic research, policy analysis, or advisory roles.
Key Skills
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in macroeconomic analysis, particularly fiscal and taxation policy.
  • Demonstrated ability to write engaging publications and articles on economic topics.
  • Familiarity with Pakistan's fiscal and taxation environment and understanding of international fiscal dynamics.
