Job Title: Account Manager – Car Sharing Business

We are seeking a commercially astute professional to help accelerate the growth of our car sharing business across the UK.

You will support the Development Director in managing a portfolio of clients across the UK, providing high-quality account management to maintain and grow revenue and ensure long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong working relationships with client contacts to understand their business objectives.
  • Liaise with colleagues to coordinate scheme launches and ensure high levels of service to clients.
  • Identify opportunities to grow schemes, develop proposals, and contribute to tenders to respond to client needs while supporting commercial objectives.
  • Provide regular reports on service performance, including vehicle utilisation and operation, using various data sources for insight and analysis.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and sales tools, feeding back through clear concise reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc support to colleagues across the group.

Required Skills:

  • Enthusiasm for providing exceptional service to public and private sector clients.
  • Ability to manage your schedule and workload, taking ownership of assignments.
  • Collaboration skills, sourcing information from colleagues at different levels with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and communicate those conclusions to clients in non-technical language.
  • Broad understanding of car sharing (car clubs and pool car schemes) and related technology.
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills to support business strategy.
  • Interest in transport, mobility, technology, and/or city planning issues.
  • Possess a full, clean driving licence.
