Key Responsibilities

Email Marketing Specialist duties include:

  • Planning, writing, and scheduling daily, weekly, monthly, and special event-based email campaigns (e.g., payday sales, flash sales, clearance events)
  • Building and managing automated Klaviyo flows (browse abandonment, welcome, cart recovery, post-purchase, etc.)

We collaborate with the design team to ensure visuals are accurate, error-free, and align with the copy and strategy.

The specialist conducts A/B testing for subject lines, design formats, send times, and content.

Push Notification Strategy

The Email Marketing Specialist plans and schedules high-impact push campaigns for product drops, restocks, offers, and sales.

They set up and manage automated push sequences (e.g., price drop alerts, back-in-stock).

Performance analysis includes click-through rates and conversion metrics to optimize timing, frequency, and copy.

This role integrates push strategy with email campaigns for a unified message experience.

Market Intelligence & Planning

Our ideal candidate conducts regular market research and trend analysis to keep messaging fresh and relevant.

Benchmarking against competitors helps identify content gaps and innovation opportunities.

The specialist owns the marketing calendar, ensuring all email and push activities align with product and promo schedules.

Copywriting & Creative Collaboration

The specialist writes clear, engaging, and conversion-focused copy tailored for Millennial, and DTC audiences.

They work closely with the creative/design team to develop campaign themes, angles, and narratives.

Analytics & Reporting

The Email Marketing Specialist monitors and reports on key KPIs across email and push platforms (open rates, CTR, revenue, deliverability).

Actionable insights are provided to improve campaign performance.

Audience hygiene practices and clean lists are maintained by this specialist.
