Computer Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Computer Operations Specialist to join our team. This role involves monitoring and operating computer systems, ensuring their smooth and efficient operation.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in operating computer systems and peripheral equipment, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and excellent attention to detail.

This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software, is also essential.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Monitoring and operating computer systems, including the mainframe computer and peripheral equipment.
  2. Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of computer systems, including troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  3. Inputting and processing data accurately and efficiently.
  4. Maintaining records of computer operations and system performance.
  5. Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of computer programs and systems.
  6. Training new staff on computer operations and procedures.
  7. Collaborating with other team members to identify and implement process improvements.
