Motive is seeking a Director, Commercial Sales Engineering for our Pakistan office. In this role, you will lead and develop our Commercial Sales Engineering teams, focusing on building strong relationships with customers, identifying business opportunities, and developing solutions to meet their needs.

As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple pre-sales teams, mentoring junior Sales Engineers, and designing innovative solutions that support Commercial sales objectives. You will also work closely with Sales Leadership to develop and execute strategies that drive significant revenue growth in the Pakistani market.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership experience, with at least 3+ years in a second-line leadership role. They will also have a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Science, and a strong understanding of value selling concepts and methodologies.

This role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. The successful candidate will also have a keen understanding of the Pakistani business landscape and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop high-performing Commercial Sales Engineering teams.
  • Oversee multiple pre-sales teams and mentor junior Sales Engineers.
  • Design innovative solutions that support Commercial sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to develop and execute strategies for revenue growth.
  • Partner with the Recruiting Team to identify and attract top Sales Engineering talent.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to local and global leadership based on data analysis and market trends.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience in a second-line leadership role.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Science.
  • Familiarity with value selling concepts and methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of the Pakistani business landscape and customer needs.
