Job Title: Health Program Coordinator

The Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has a community-based field site in Pakistan, focusing on research for betterment of women and child health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create weekly reports and submit them to project supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate records of project incentives with social mobilizers.
  • Translate and type project documents in Urdu as needed.
  • Organize and maintain all project data.
  • Conduct awareness sessions in communities with clear objectives.
  • Provide counseling to study participants.
  • Coordinate with project supervisors to discuss field-related activities.
  • Develop training programs for staff according to study protocols and guidelines.
  • Stay highly organized and self-motivated in your work.
  • Ensure effective time use during field work processes.
  • Visit households in communities to ensure successful data collection.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in social science or relevant field is required.
  • Two-three years of experience in maternal and child health.
  • Desirable: experience in breastfeeding counseling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Able to work independently and in teams effectively.
  • Good writing skills are necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of survey and research designs.
  • Able to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Resilience and ability to cope with work pressure.
  • Willingness to work in communities/field sites.
  • Good computer and report writing skills are required.
