The DevOps Engineer role at our organization involves utilizing your Windows and Linux experience, network knowledge, and debugging skills to monitor and respond to operational events within our platform.

Responsibilities include participating in LiveOps functions, managing servers, handling IIS Management and 3rd party Domain/SSL management, participating in on-call rotations, responding to system alerts, performing root cause analysis, maintaining internal tickets for customer issues, troubleshooting databases, communicating constraints, documenting processes and procedures, implementing DNS management with 3rd party tools, and using scripting for deployment and maintenance.

Effective communication and teamwork are crucial in this position. You will work collaboratively in a results-driven environment, communicate service health and status internally, ensure quality through accountability and testing, and promptly report defects or issues.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong documentation and security assessment skills, as well as knowledge of git, Linux, Windows Server, IP routing, ELB, CDN, VPC, scripting skills: shell, PowerShell, Python, Bash, web tech: DNS, HTTP, SSL, and database knowledge: MS SQL, MySQL, Postgres.
