Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Reliability Specialist to design, implement and enhance our infrastructure resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes-based platforms.
  • Build and manage Docker container images, ensuring seamless integration with associated dependencies.
  • Configure, automate and maintain diverse environments across on-premises clusters, cloud services and containerized platforms.
  • Optimize process automation to increase efficiency and consistency.
  • Deploy and manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters, MySQL databases, storage solutions and ELK stacks.
  • Ensure high availability and resilience of our infrastructure.
  • Implement automation and configuration management using tools like Ansible and Puppet.
  • Collaborate with development teams to transition legacy applications to microservices architectures.
Technical Requirements

Operating Systems:

  • Proficiency in Unix-based environments, including RedHat and Ubuntu.

Build & CI Tools:

  • Experience with build systems (e.g. Dockerfiles, Make) and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware, Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.

Scripting:

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python and PowerShell.

Platform CLI Tools:

  • Familiarity with CLI tools for Veeam Backup, VMware, AWS, Azure and Netscaler load balancers.

API Integration:

  • Ability to interact with REST APIs for data retrieval and posting, including implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Container Orchestration & Management:

  • Expertise with on-prem Kubernetes (including AWS EKS) and Docker Compose.

Configuration Management & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  • Skilled in tools like Ansible, Puppet and Terraform.
  • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack and SolarWinds for monitoring and logging.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Source Control:

  • Proficient in Git for version control and team collaboration.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
