Job Title: Logistics Support Professional
About the Job:The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Support Professional to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. As a member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of personnel and goods across various destinations.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate UN assigned vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel, goods, and equipment following authorized routing and UN safety and security rules and regulations.- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, logbook of all trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.- Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations, both local and international, while driving UN organization vehicles and always ensuring the safety and security of passengers and cargo.- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including regular cleaning, fuelling, and checking of oil, water, brakes, and other vehicle fluids.
Requirements:- Completion of secondary school education.- Formal drivers training with a valid driver's license/certification to operate assigned vehicle following local rules and regulations.- Two or more years of work experience as a Driver, preferably in an international organization, embassy or UN system with a demonstrated safe driving record.
