Job Title: Payroll Processing Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented payroll processing specialist to join our accounting firm in Lahore. The successful candidate will play a vital part in supporting accurate and timely payroll processing for our clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls, including gross wages and deductions.
  • Prepare and submit PAYE and HMRC returns in line with deadlines.
  • Handle statutory payments (SSP, SMP) and pension submissions.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Support the preparation of P45s, P60s, variance reports, and payroll analysis.
  • Liaise with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll queries efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in UK payroll processing is essential.
  • A good understanding of PAYE, HMRC guidelines, and statutory payments is required.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel is necessary.
  • A strong attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving ability is essential.
  • Familiarity with auto-enrolment and pension schemes is a plus.
