Commercial Planning and Execution Role

This role is responsible for overseeing the commercial operations of a company, focusing on processes such as procurement, dispatch, and stores planning. The Commercial Manager will identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing staff, creating material requirement plans, and establishing key performance metrics. They should be familiar with planning and forecasting systems, data analysis, and computer software programs like Excel, Word, and Access.

The role requires close collaboration with sales teams to link forecasts to purchasing and inventory management. The individual must be able to identify cost reduction opportunities and implement strategies to achieve them.

The successful candidate will have strong supervisory skills, including employee screening, training, and performance appraisal. They should also be able to address complaints and resolve problems effectively.
