We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting commercial decision-making processes by providing strategic analysis, business insights, and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed data analysis, forecasting, and modeling to assess commercial performance, business opportunities, and market trends.
  • Translate complex data sets into clear reports and presentations to aid decision-making.
  • Analyze and monitor revenue streams, costs, and profitability metrics to provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and finance teams to provide analytical support.
  • Create, manage, and optimize complex Excel models using advanced techniques.
  • Develop and maintain regular financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track performance against targets.
  • Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects to inform key business decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a commercial analyst, business analyst, or data analysis role.
  • Proven experience in conducting financial analysis and modeling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required (advanced knowledge including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, macros, and data visualization).
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of business and financial principles, including profitability, pricing, and margin analysis.
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights with a clear understanding of business impact.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
