Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, materials procurement and strategic sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and automate purchasing related reports and data analysis to ensure timely delivery of purchases.
  • Provide advice and monitor projects end to end Supply Chain, ensuring on-time deliverables and Supplier On-Time in Full.
  • Generate POs for projects as well as portfolio related POs, identifying potential project risks through regular engagement with suppliers.
  • Implement procurement strategies and plans in line with company goals and objectives, developing closed-loop feedback and implementing actions on Supplier Performances for key/critical suppliers.
  • Sourcing and procuring materials in the most cost and time efficient manner to meet organisational needs.
  • Maintaining compliance of company standards on purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Plan and coordinate timely delivery of purchases to meet organisational on-time delivery requirements.
  • Driving continuous improvement activities in cost, lead time, commercial terms and supply performance without compromising overall quality.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, materials procurement and strategic sourcing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of demand and supply concepts and ability to prepare and present clearly on necessary information for proposing an idea/potential solution when a problem is encountered.
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Able to work independently and make sound decisions based on data.
  • Possess experience of at least 5 years in using SAP/Oracle or other ERP Systems and application of material planning parameters and their impact.
