To secure strategic procurement positions within a renowned institution, you will be responsible for overseeing Procurement Operations.

  • Create and implement effective procurement strategies to achieve cost-effective deals in consultation with stakeholders.
  • Ensure the credibility of suppliers and vendors through proper vendor registration and database management.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to acquire the best deals in terms of product quality and payment terms.
  • Maintain long-term professional relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor compliance with procurement policies and procedures across the organization.
  • C coordinate the approval of rates for regular consumables on a quarterly basis.
  • Determine organizational purchasing needs and consolidate items' procurement on best deals.
  • Develop and train the procurement team at the strategic units' level.
  • Execute and maintain service level agreements at the organizational level.
  • Evaluate Procurement policies and suggest improvements to bring cost savings and efficiency.
  • Manage procurement budgets efficiently to promote long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Oversight and review of procurement contracts and agreements to ensure best procurement deals.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree/MBA in Supply Chain Management from a recognized institute/university.
  • 8-10 years experience in procurement/supply chain management, preferably in Educational/Healthcare industry.
