Health Promotion Specialist

Job Summary:

The Health Promotion Specialist will be responsible for the successful implementation of health and hygiene promotion, education, and awareness activities in target communities.

This specialist will work within local communities to promote engagement in health issues through outreach activities, partnerships, and collaborations with key stakeholders and individuals.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strategic partnerships with community leaders and organizations.
  • Coordinate project implementation with program staff.
  • Conduct awareness sessions and outreach activities to inform community members about services.
  • Facilitate awareness sessions for communities on basic health and hygiene practices.
  • Ensure transparent communication channels between community members and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Community Volunteer.
  • Awareness of local culture and languages.
